Plant the IDEA (Identifying Details of Educational Assets): Encouraging interest in all things GREEN, grew out of my desire to help people connect to plants. This series, in particular, is targeted toward educators/interpreters who might not have easy access to outdoor environments OR educators who teach laboratories OR just plain 'ole plant enthusiasts. They are meant as small, interesting, but detailed snippets about plants. Where possible, I will refer readers to the plant biology literature. As I have time, I'll post different versions of these, so that they might be more useful to a wide swath of educators/interpreters.
